Disciples who Make Disciples
We believe the purpose of any church or youth ministry is to make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20.
To make disciples you must be a disciple.
To understand how to be a disciple is to study the life of Christ and follow him. 1 John 2:6
To understand how to make disciples is to follow his example.
We are driven to challenge, equip and multipliy ministries which make disciples, who make disciples the way Jesus did.
Our dream is to initiate a movement of disciple making in as many ministries as we can in Honduras and the nations.
The Plan
1. Training events, open to evangelical student ministry leaders designed to equip/encourage them to be a disciple and build disciplemaking ministries.
2. Fusion trips that will build model ministries, expand the vision of the world in Honduran students and North American students.
3. UMES conferences to equip students to share their faith with their peers and become fishers of men.
4. Build a team of Honduran leaders who will own the movement, manage the movement and advance the movement.
